Deval Logistics

Deval Logistics is based out of Al-Faiz Society in Juhapura, which is a really lively part of Ahmedabad. We are at house number A,11, right behind the A-One School. If you’re around during the day, you can hear the kids playing and the bells ringing from the school next door. It’s a busy place with a lot of people moving around the Sukun Plot area. We have a small office where we manage all the logistics work. The room is usually filled with the sound of the phone ringing and the hum of the old ceiling fan. Ahmedabad gets incredibly hot, so we try to do the heavy work early in the morning before the sun gets too high. We have some chairs for visitors and a big table where we spread out the maps and the delivery schedules. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a ground-floor office in a residential society. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time navigating the small streets, but we’ve lived here long enough to know the shortcuts. We just keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the drivers know where they are going. There’s always something happening, so the day goes by pretty fast. We just stay focused on the work we have to do.
