Our office is over at 503 in the Parshwanath Esquare building. Being near Prahalad Nagar Garden is nice for a quick walk when our eyes get tired of the computer screens. We work on web-to-print software at Design'N' Buy Webtoprint Pvt.Ltd. It sounds complicated, but mostly it is about making sure people can design stuff online without the system breaking. The office has that typical Corporate Road feel, with lots of glass and concrete everywhere. We have a few rows of desks and a small pantry where the coffee is usually a bit burnt. It is not a huge team, but we stay busy. Some days the code just does not work and we spend hours trying to figure out why. We get people from all over asking about how to set up their print shops. It is funny how much work goes into just getting a business card to look right on a screen. The traffic on the way in can be really bad during the morning rush. We try to keep a relaxed vibe, so nobody wears suits or anything like that. Just jeans and t-shirts mostly. Sometimes we order food in when there is a big deadline to meet. It is a lot of sitting and typing. The building gets quiet late at night, which is when some of us get the most work done. It is a good spot in Ahmedabad, even if the parking is a bit of a nightmare sometimes.
