Deepak Electronics

You can find Deepak Electronics at 69/70 Capital Commercial Centre. We are right near Sanyas Ashram on Ashram Road. This building is always full of people going up and down the stairs. Our shop is packed with all sorts of electronic components, wires, and circuit boards. It’s the kind of place where you have to know exactly which drawer to look in, or you’ll never find what you’re searching for. I’ve been working here for years and I still sometimes get confused by the sheer amount of stuff we keep on the shelves. The smells of solder and warm plastic are pretty much always in the air. We spend our days testing parts and talking to people who are trying to fix their own gadgets at home. Ashram Road is always hectic, so the sound of the traffic is like a constant background hum. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just counters and shelves. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, so we have to carry boxes up by hand, which is quite a workout. We get a lot of regulars who come by just to see what new parts have come in. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s interesting to see how things work on the inside. We just keep our heads down and get the repairs done.
