Deepak Auto Spares

We are located on the 1st floor of the Chunawala Block in Khanpur. Deepak Auto Spares is right near the Guj Samachar building and J.P Chowk. It is a very busy area of the city. Our shop is packed with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We have parts for all sorts of vehicles. It’s hard to keep everything organized sometimes because we have so much stock. We spend most of our time climbing ladders to find exactly what a customer needs. It’s dusty work and there isn't much space to move around. We’ve been in Khanpur for a long time. You get to know all the regular mechanics and drivers who come by. We don't have a fancy display window or anything like that. People just know we have the parts they are looking for. The noise from J.P Chowk is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. We usually have tea delivered a couple of times a day and that’s when we take a small break. Our office is just a small desk in the corner with a ledger and a calculator. We don't use much technology here. It’s all about knowing what is in stock and where it is. We try to be helpful when someone comes in with a part they can't find elsewhere. It’s a busy, cramped place, but it’s our life.
