Darshan Hardware Khazana

Darshan Hardware Khazana sits right near Parimal Garden in Ellisbridge, inside the Valmik building. If you’ve ever walked around this part of Ahmedabad, you probably know the area gets busy with people heading to the park. Our shop is packed floor to ceiling with all sorts of metal bits, tools, and stuff you’d need to fix a leaky sink or hang a picture. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we try to keep everything on hand. You’ll see buckets, wrenches, and boxes of nails piled up in every corner. My father started this, and we’ve just kept it going the same way. We spend a lot of time cleaning dust off the shelves because hardware just seems to attract it. It isn't a modern showroom with bright lights; it’s more of a place where you come when you actually have work to do. Sometimes someone comes in with a broken part and we spend twenty minutes digging through drawers just to find a match. That’s just part of the day. The traffic outside can be a bit much during the evenings, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of clinking metal and people asking for advice on which drill bit to use. We don’t do anything flashy here, just selling hardware to folks in the neighborhood who need to get things fixed and need help finding the right screw.
