Darshan Hardware & Paint Mart (Ghatlodia)

You can find us at 11 Shreekunj Shopping Center in the Rannapark area of Ghatlodia. It’s a pretty standard local shop. We spend a lot of our day surrounded by paint cans and stacks of hardware. The smell of fresh paint is something you just get used to after a few weeks here. It’s a local spot where people from the neighborhood drop by when they need a brush or a specific color for their walls. We don't have any big speeches to give. We just help find what’s on the list. The shopping center stays fairly active, especially on the weekends. We’re usually busy tinting paint or counting out screws for someone. Sometimes we have to move heavy buckets around, which is a good workout I guess. Ghatlodia is a nice place to have a business because you see the same faces often. We know which houses are being renovated just by looking at who walks through the door. The shop isn't fancy, just shelves and counters and a lot of stock. We try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when it’s a busy day. We just stay focused on the tasks in front of us. It’s a simple way to make a living. We open up, we help the customers, and we close up when the sun goes down. That’s the daily routine here at Darshan Hardware & Paint Mart.
