Darshan Furniture & Interior Decorator (Naranpura)

We’re set up at 50 Shastri Nagar Shopping Centre on Ankur Road. Naranpura is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside our door. Being in a shopping centre means we see a lot of people just passing through. Our space is filled with wood, fabric samples, and the smell of glue most days. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of furniture pieces being worked on at the same time. We don’t really go for a corporate look. It’s more of a practical workspace where we try to figure out how to make things fit. People come in asking about their homes or shops. We listen and try to sketch out some ideas on whatever paper is lying around. It gets dusty, that’s just the nature of working with wood and decor. We’ve been here in Shastri Nagar for quite a while now. Most people in the neighborhood know us or have seen us hauling chairs and tables in and out of the shop. The traffic on Ankur Road can be a headache during rush hour, but we’ve gotten used to the noise. We stay busy with the small details that go into making furniture. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do. We just keep at it, day after day, trying to get things right for the folks who walk in.
