Darshak Electronics

Darshak Electronics is tucked into 5/6 Raj Ratna Apartments. We are right near the Nehrunagar Cross Road in the Ambavadi area. It is a nice spot because we are directly opposite the Manek Baug Jain Derasar, which is a very recognizable landmark for anyone coming to see us. Since we are in an apartment building, it feels a bit more personal than a big glass office tower. We use a couple of the ground floor units for our work. There is always something being looked at or tested on the benches. It is the kind of place where you might find a bit of solder on the floor or a few stray wires here and there. We have been here for a long time and the neighbors know us well. The morning traffic at the cross road can be loud, but it settles down after a while. We spend our days mostly working on various electronic items that people bring in. It is not a polished showroom; it is more of a practical workspace where we can actually get our hands dirty. The light coming through the front windows is good for detailed work. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it is just a delivery, other times it is someone looking for a bit of help with a gadget. We like being in Ambavadi because it feels like a real community. It is a simple life here, just doing the work we know how to do. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background while we sort through the day's repairs.
