Dandy Enterprises

Our office is over at 204, J.P.Complex, right across from C.N.Vidyalaya in Ambawadi. It’s a lively spot, mostly because of the school. In the mornings and again in the afternoon, the whole street is filled with kids and parents, so it can get pretty loud. We at Dandy Enterprises have gotten used to the sound of the school bell. It kind of helps us keep time throughout the day. The complex itself is one of those older buildings that has seen a lot of history. Our space isn't huge, but it's enough for the three of us to work comfortably without bumping into each other too often. We have a couple of old fans that creak a bit when they’re on high, but they do the job when it gets hot out. Most of our work involves a lot of phone calls and checking ledgers. It’s nothing too exciting, just the daily grind of keeping a business running. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a coffee machine that does anything special. We just use a small electric coil to boil water for tea. It’s a simple way of doing things, and it works for us. We’ve been here long enough that the watchman knows us by name. We like being in Ambawadi because everything you need is just a short walk away. It feels like a real community here, and we appreciate the familiarity of seeing the same faces every single morning.
