We are based at 402 Sapphire Complex, which is up on the 4th floor. It is a busy building on C G Road, near Cargo Motors and right across from Ratnam. Being in the air conditioning business, we are always thinking about the temperature, especially during the summer months in Ahmedabad. The office at Daikin Shriram Airconditioning Pvt Ltd is where we handle the coordination for everything. It gets a bit hectic when the weather turns hot and everyone starts thinking about their cooling systems. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at schedules. The 4th floor isn't too high up, but you still get a good sense of the bustle on C G Road from the windows. The hallway in the complex is usually quiet until the lunch hour hits. We have a few desks and some files tucked away in the corners. It is an honest workplace where the focus is on getting the jobs scheduled and making sure the technicians know where they are going. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs if we are in a hurry. The area is great because there are plenty of places to grab a quick snack nearby. We don't put on any airs here; it is just a functional office for the team to meet and work. We have been at this spot for a while and it suits us just fine. Most days we are just buried in service logs and customer requests, trying to keep everyone comfortable.
