D. S. Enterprise

If you look for D. S. Enterprise, you will find us at the S. B. Cement Pipe Compound. It is tucked away behind Amber Timber Mart and right near the Gota railway crossing. The area is quite dusty because of all the cement and the trucks moving in and out all day. We spend a lot of time outside in the yard checking on the pipes and managing the inventory. When the trains go past the Gota crossing, the whole place shakes a little bit. It is something you just get used to after a week or two of working here. Our office is a small building on the side of the compound. Inside, it is mostly just desks covered in invoices and delivery notes. We have a lot of heavy equipment around, so there is always the sound of engines or metal clanking. It is a tough environment but we like the honesty of the work. We deal with a lot of different contractors who need supplies for their construction sites. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and the ground gets muddy. We just pull on our boots and keep going anyway. There are no fancy carpets or air conditioning that works perfectly here. It’s just a yard where we store pipes and manage the logistics of moving them to where they need to go. Most of us live nearby in Gota, so it’s a short commute every morning.
