We’re in the Income Tax area, which makes it easy for people to find us since it’s a well-known part of Ahmedabad. Navjivan Press is right nearby, so that’s a good landmark if you’re coming over for the first time. Our office isn't in one of those tall glass towers. It’s a bit more grounded than that. We like the feel of the society here; it feels more like a community than a cold business district. Inside, it’s pretty straightforward. We have desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that seem to grow every year. We aren't the type of people to use big words or pretend we are something we’re not. We just handle the accounts and the legalities that people bring to us. Some days are quieter than others, but usually, there’s a lot of typing and the sound of the printer going in the background. We make our own coffee and sometimes share snacks during the afternoon slump. It’s a simple setup. We’ve been here long enough that the walls have a few scuffs and the chairs are broken in. It’s just a place of work where we try to be helpful and get through the pile of folders on our desks before the sun goes down. It is nothing fancy but it is home for us.
