R. K. Industries

We are based at Plot No. 110 in Yamuna Industrial Estate-1. It’s right near Shakriba Party Plot on the Revabhai Estate Road in the Ctm area. This is an industrial neighborhood, so it’s mostly factories and workshops around us. R. K. Industries is where we do our manufacturing work. It’s a noisy place with machines running and metal clanging. The floor is concrete and usually has some grease on it. We aren't a big company with many departments. It’s just a group of us who know how to run the equipment. We wear heavy clothes and boots because the work is rough on everything. It gets very hot under the metal roof in the summer months. We don't have a fancy office for meetings. If a client comes by, we just talk to them on the shop floor or near the entrance. We have a small kettle for making tea in the afternoons. It’s hard work and we usually go home feeling pretty tired. We've been at this location for a while and we know the other guys in the estate. We don't do any advertising or anything like that. People find us because they need things made and they know we do the job right. We just focus on keeping the machines in good shape and getting the orders out on time. It’s a basic, practical business and that suits us just fine. We just stay busy with the work we have.
