Croma The Electronics Mega Store

This Croma store is located inside Himalaya Mall right on Drive In Road. It’s a big space because we have a lot of electronics to put out on the floor for people to see. If you’ve been to Memnagar, you know how busy it gets near Indraprasth Tower. The mall gets really packed on Saturday evenings, so that is when we are the busiest. We spend a lot of time unboxing TVs and setting up the laptop displays so they look alright. Sometimes the air conditioning in the mall feels a bit too cold, so we keep a sweater handy in the back room. Working in a big place like this means walking a lot of steps every day. We see all kinds of people coming in just to look at the new gadgets or to buy a fridge because their old one finally quit on them. The floor gets scuffed up from all the shoes, so there is always someone cleaning it. It’s a lot of work keeping everything plugged in and running so people can see how the screens look. We have rows and rows of different things, from small headphones to big washing machines. The loading dock at the back of the mall is where all the new stock comes in, and that’s always a bit of a mess with cardboard boxes everywhere. It’s just a standard electronics shop inside a mall, nothing too crazy about it. We stay open late because the mall stays open late. It’s just how it is working here in Memnagar.
