We are based in the Shahpur Mill Compound, right at 1464/3 in the Shahpur area of Ahmedabad. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history in these mill buildings. You can find us right opposite Preyas High School. The area is always crowded with people and vehicles, which is just part of life in Shahpur. Since we deal with salt, the environment can be a bit rugged. Our space isn't a modern office block; it’s more of a functional warehouse and office mix within the old compound walls. We spend our days coordinating shipments and checking on the salt coming in. There is always a layer of dust around, and the air has that specific smell of an industrial site. We’ve been here long enough that the school kids and the local shopkeepers all recognize us. It’s a noisy place with the sounds of the city and the school nearby, but we don't mind it much. We just focus on our tasks and making sure the trucks get loaded correctly. It’s a lot of manual coordination and paperwork. We don't have a big corporate team, just a small group of people who have been working together for years. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. That’s just how things go around here. We keep it moving anyway. It is an honest living for our small crew.
