Concept3 The Design Workshop

Concept3 The Design Workshop is located over on Ashram Road, right in B/2 of NR House. If you know where the Sales India store is, we are just across from there. It can get pretty noisy on this road with all the traffic, but once you step inside the workshop, it is all about the projects we have going on. Our desks are usually covered in sketches, measuring tapes, and scrap pieces of material. We aren't the type to have a perfectly clean office because real design work is kind of messy. Sometimes we spend hours just arguing about where a line should go or what material fits a specific space. It is just a few of us here doing the actual labor. We have been in this spot for a while now and have seen Ashram Road change a lot over the years. It is a good place to be, even if parking is a nightmare sometimes. We do a lot of our thinking and building right here in this room. We don't really have a big sales team or anything like that. If you call, you're probably talking to the person who is actually drawing your plans or cutting the wood. We just try to get the jobs done and move on to the next one. There is an old coffee machine in the corner that makes a lot of noise, but it gets us through the mornings. We often stay late when a deadline is coming up, eating snacks while we look over the blueprints one last time. It is not always easy work, but we are used to the rhythm of Ashram Road by now.
