Comfort Inn President is right in the thick of things in Navrangpura. We are off C.G. Road, right across from the Municipal Market. If you know Ahmedabad, you know this is where everyone comes to shop and eat. It’s a very busy area, and the noise from the market is just part of our daily life. The hotel is an older building that has seen a lot of people come and go over the years. We spend most of our time trying to keep the dust away, which is a losing battle in this city. The lobby is often full of people waiting for their friends or checking their phones. Our staff is a mix of people who have been here for years and some new faces. We don't have a lot of fancy procedures. If a room needs fixing, we call the guy and he fixes it. The elevators are small and sometimes there’s a wait during the lunch hour because of the restaurant. We get a lot of business people who just want to be near the offices on C.G. Road. It’s a convenient spot, even if the traffic outside is a nightmare during rush hour. We don’t try to act like a big five-star place. We’re just a local hotel trying to keep things running smoothly. There’s always someone at the desk and someone cleaning a floor. That’s just how we do things here in Navrangpura.
