Coal India Limited

Coal India Limited has an office located on the second floor of Navdeep House. It sits right on Ashram Road, which is easily one of the busiest and most crowded streets in the whole city. If you have ever been to this part of town, you know that the traffic can be quite a lot to deal with. We have been based in this building for a long time. It is a plain and simple office space where we handle the administrative side of the business. There is a whole lot of paperwork involved in the coal industry, and this is where it all gets processed. We do not have any big signs or flashing lights outside. It is just a regular place where the staff comes to work every morning. Most of us take the bus or drive through that same morning rush every day. We focus on the logistics and the coordination that is required for such a large industrial operation. Ashram Road has changed quite a bit since we first moved in here. New buildings have gone up all around us, but our office has stayed pretty much the same. We do not go in for fancy corporate speak or big mission statements. We just have a job to do, and we make sure it gets done. It is a functional environment where the work is the priority. We deal with many different regions from this central spot.
