Chitra Insultec is located at Sarthak II in Navrangpura. We are in office 202, right near the Swastik Cross Road. It’s a busy part of Ahmedabad, so there’s always something happening outside our window. We deal with insulation work and related things. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s what we know. Most days involve talking to contractors or looking over project site details. The office is usually filled with samples of materials and rolls of tape. We have a small staff here. Some of us have been here since the start. Navrangpura is a good spot because everything is close by, like the banks and the tea stalls. The traffic at the cross road can be a nightmare during rush hour, so we try to get in early. We don't have some big corporate lobby or anything. It’s just a practical office where we get things done. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating deliveries. Sometimes the samples get mixed up on the shelves, but we manage to sort it out. It’s a lot of technical talk about heat and protection. We just try to keep the orders moving and the paperwork straight. It’s a steady pace here. We don't really do the whole fancy business lunch thing; we usually just eat at our desks or head to a local place nearby. It's just a normal workplace with people who have been in this industry for a long time.
