Chickens Of Ludhiana

Our place is Shed No. 3 in the Supreme Estate. We are located near the Nobel Nagar crossing in the Naroda GIDC area. It is a busy industrial part of town, so there is always a lot of noise and movement around us. The shed itself is pretty basic. It is a large open space where we handle everything related to the chickens. Being in Naroda, the heat can get quite intense in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We start our days very early, usually before the sun is even up, because that is when the birds need the most attention. It is a lot of physical work, moving crates and making sure the feed is right. We do not have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you will likely find us in our working clothes, probably a bit dusty from the day's tasks. There is a small desk in the corner where we keep our logbooks and phone, but most of the action happens on the floor. The name Chickens Of Ludhiana reflects where we started or our roots, but our daily life is firmly here in Naroda. We do not have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the birds are healthy and the orders go out on time to the local markets. It is honest, tiring work, but it keeps us busy and we like the routine of it.
