Jekson Hydraulic Ltd. is located on the Sarkhej-bavla Highway Road in the Changodar area. Changodar is a massive industrial hub outside of Ahmedabad, and being right on the highway means there is never a moment of silence. You have the constant roar of trucks and tankers moving goods across the state. Our facility is easy to spot once you are on that stretch of road. It is a practical building designed for handling heavy hydraulic equipment. The yard is usually full of parts and metal components waiting to be moved. Inside, it is a lot of oil, steel, and the smell of welding. The guys on the shop floor have their hands full most of the day. We don't have a fancy showroom. If someone comes to see us, they usually end up walking through the main work area to find someone in the small office at the back. It is a bit dusty because of the highway traffic and the industrial nature of the surroundings, but that is just how it is in Changodar. We take our breaks when we can, often just sitting near the entrance to catch a bit of a breeze. The work is steady and physically demanding. We focus on getting the hydraulic units right and making sure they are ready for the customers who drive in from the highway. It’s a busy, unpolished life here on the road.
