Transformers Rectifiers (i) Ltd.

Our workshop is located out on the Sarkhej Bavla Highway in the Changodar area. We are right opposite the P. W. D. building, so we are pretty easy to spot if you are driving toward Anand. The address covers Survey Numbers 344 to 350, which is a fairly large stretch of land. Most of what we do at Transformers Rectifiers (i) Ltd. involves heavy lifting and dealing with large electrical components. It’s a noisy place because the highway traffic is always humming in the background and our overhead cranes are usually moving something heavy. The floor is concrete and often has patches of oil or grease, which is just the nature of this kind of work. We have a lot of space here, but it always seems to get filled up with parts and half-finished units. The office part of the building is just some partitioned rooms where we keep the ledger books and the blueprints. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just truck drivers and technicians coming to pick up or drop off equipment. It’s a tough environment, especially when the sun is beating down on the tin roof, but we’ve got a good group of people who know how to handle the equipment. We don't put on any airs about what we do. It’s just about getting the units built and out the gate on time so they can be put to use elsewhere.
