Chamunda Plastic

You can find us at Plot No. 8021 in Phase II of the GIDC. We are tucked away behind Maradiya Chemical in Vatva. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always a lot of dust and trucks moving around. We work with plastic materials, mostly molding and processing. The machines can be quite loud when everything is running at once. My uncle started this place years ago, and we’ve just kept it going. It’s not the cleanest environment, but that’s the nature of plastic manufacturing. We spend most of our time on the factory floor rather than in the office. Vatva is a huge place, and sometimes even the delivery drivers get lost trying to find our specific plot number. We just tell them to look for the Maradiya Chemical building and turn behind it. Our shed is pretty large, and we store a lot of raw materials near the entrance. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can to meet the daily requirements. Some days the power cuts out, which is a bit of a headache, but we manage. It’s honest work and we’ve got a small crew of guys who have been with us for a long time. We eat lunch together on the benches outside when the weather is decent. It’s just us doing the best we can with the equipment we have on the shop floor every day. We don't have fancy titles, everyone just helps where they are needed.
