Chairr

You can find us over in Bodakdev at 8 Patel Avenue. We are right across from Avdhesh House and very close to the Gurudwara. The name of the place is Chairr. We focus on all types of chairs. The shop isn't some giant warehouse; it's a more personal space on Patel Avenue. We have different chairs lined up inside. Some are for offices and some are for homes. We spend our time showing people how they feel to sit in. It is a pretty relaxed atmosphere here. We don't have anyone following you around trying to make a sale. We just let people look. Bodakdev is a nice area and it has grown a lot, so we get a lot of variety in our customers. We aren't a big corporate chain with a polished image. We are just a local shop. Sometimes we are busy with deliveries and the floor gets a bit cluttered with boxes and bubble wrap. We try to keep it tidy, but it's a working shop. We've got a small crew and we all do a bit of everything, from answering questions to moving the stock around. It’s a simple way to run things. Most people find us because they were visiting the Gurudwara and saw our sign. We're just here every day, doing our thing with chairs and talking to whoever drops by. It's a decent way to spend the day.
