Building NEXT Architects

We are based at 502 on the 5th floor of Visharad Complex. The building sits right opposite Loha Bhavan in Navrangpura, which is a pretty old and established part of Ahmedabad. We are located on the Old High Court Road, so the area has a bit of history to it. Our office is a bit of a climb if the lift is out of order, but the view from the fifth floor is alright. It’s a functional space filled with drafting boards and computer stations. We have lots of physical blueprints lying around because we still like to look at things on paper. It’s not a very modern or sleek office, but it works for what we need to do every day. We spend a lot of time arguing over small details in our plans and drinking a lot of tea. The building itself is older, and you can hear the sounds of the city coming through the windows. We’ve got a small team and everyone knows their job. We don't have any formal mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, look at the schedules, and try to make progress on the current builds. It can be stressful when deadlines are close, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. It’s just a place where architects work and try to get things built the right way.
