Brush Corporation (India)

We are located at Kumar Bhavan, which is right opposite Zaveriwad on Relief Road. People usually just call it the Brush House because that’s what we do here at Brush Corporation (India). The building is an old one, and it’s packed with every kind of brush you could think of, from the big industrial ones to small bits for cleaning. Relief Road is always crowded, so it’s never really quiet around the shop. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes it takes a bit of climbing to find exactly what a customer is looking for. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the boxes and stock piled up, but we know where everything is. My father started things here, and not much has changed in terms of how we run the place. We don't use fancy software or have a marketing team; we just answer the phone and help the people who walk through the door. Some days it’s just locals, other times we get orders from further away, and we have to pack everything up right there on the floor. It’s a lot of manual work and the air always smells a bit like wood and synthetic bristles. We stay open until the sun goes down, just keeping the business going like we always have.
