Our business, Dhaval Fabrics Pvt. Ltd., is based at Krishna Bunglow on Sandesh Press Road. We are right near the Vallabh Raw House in the Bodekdev area. It’s a bit different working out of a bunglow rather than a standard office block, but it works for us. It gives the place a more relaxed feel, almost like working from home but with more fabric samples everywhere. We spend our days dealing with various textiles and making sure the orders for the week are moving along. Bodekdev has changed a lot since we first moved here, getting much busier over time. We remember when the road outside was a lot quieter. Inside, we have rooms filled with different materials and a small space where we handle the admin work. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy here. Everyone just chips in where they are needed. If the phone rings and the person who usually answers is busy, someone else picks it up. We’ve always preferred it that way. No one is too important to help out with the basic chores. We don't bother with fancy brochures or marketing slogans. We just tell people where we are and what we have in stock. It’s a quiet way to run a fabric business, and we’ve made a lot of friends in the trade just by being consistent and showing up every morning to Krishna Bunglow.
