Abhay Overseas

Our office is right on the S.G. Highway, near the Rajpath Club in Bodakdev. It’s a busy part of Ahmedabad, and the noise from the highway is pretty much a constant background hum for us. We’re in building number 40, and from the windows, you can see the cars zooming by all day. We do a lot of overseas work, so the clocks on the wall are sometimes set to different times, and there’s always someone staying late to catch a call from a different time zone. It’s not a glamorous job, even if the address sounds a bit fancy being near the club. Most of our time is spent looking at shipping documents and making sure the customs paperwork is in order. The office is usually cluttered with folders and samples of things we’re sending out or bringing in. We’re a small group, so we end up sharing the work and the snacks. Sometimes the internet acts up or the courier is late, and then everyone is a bit on edge, but we get through it. Bodakdev has grown so much lately, and being right here on the highway makes it easy for people to find us, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare sometimes. We just focus on the daily tasks and trying to get the shipments moved without any major headaches. It’s a steady pace, and we’ve gotten used to the fast-moving lifestyle around here over the years as the area keeps expanding.
