Bionis Clinic

Bionis Clinic sits right near the Panchshil bus stand, just across from the Gujarat Vishwakosh building. We are part of the Bank of India society in Usmanpura, near the Subhash Bridge Circle. It’s a busy area with people always coming and going from the bridge. Our clinic is a small place, really. We wanted to keep it that way so it doesn’t feel like those giant hospitals where you get lost. We have a few chairs in the waiting area and a desk where we keep the files. It’s not very modern looking, but it’s clean and it works. People from the neighborhood stop in mostly. We see a lot of the same faces, which is nice. You get to know their families and what’s going on in their lives. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word just gets around. Usually, we’re just busy checking temperatures or writing out prescriptions. The traffic outside can be noisy, especially during rush hour, but inside we try to keep things calm. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and we take a quick break. We don't have fancy slogans. We just open the doors in the morning, see who needs help, and stay until the last person is taken care of. It’s a basic way to run a clinic, but it feels right for this part of Usmanpura. We’ve been here a while and plan to stay for as long as we can. There isn't much else to it, just a neighborhood clinic.
