Bhavna Machine Tools

Our workshop is at 4 Shivsadan Society, near Ami Steel on Viratnagar Road in Odhav. It’s located just off N H No 8, which is a very busy highway full of trucks. Dealing with machine tools means our hands are often greasy and the floor is usually covered in metal shavings. We have various machines set up in our space, and they make a lot of noise when they are running at full speed. It is a small team here, and we all know each other well. We have been in this Odhav neighborhood for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the whole area change around us. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place where we can work on tools. People come to us when they have something broken or need a specific part for their machinery. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the fit is exactly right. It’s precise work even if the surroundings are a bit rough and old. Sometimes we get behind on our cleaning because the work keeps coming in faster than we can sweep. You will see tools scattered across the benches and half-finished projects waiting for parts. It is a real working shop, not a showroom for visitors. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is done by eye and many years of experience. The traffic from the highway is a constant background hum. We just drink our tea and keep the machines turning until the day is over.
