Rivya Buildcon Private Limited. is over on Vallabh Baug Road, inside the Vallabhwadi Archana Society. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than being right on the main highway. We have our office in a small unit that we’ve modified to fit all our desks and computers. There are always people walking their dogs or kids playing outside, which makes it feel like a real community. We do buildcon work, which basically means we spend our time figuring out how to turn a plot of dirt into something people can actually use. Our walls are covered in photos of projects we finished years ago and some that we are still working on today. The carpet is a bit worn out from all the muddy boots coming through, but we aren't too worried about that. We have a small kitchen where we make tea and keep our lunch boxes. Usually, we take turns bringing in snacks for everyone to share during the afternoon break. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We just have our lists of things to do and we work through them at a steady pace. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, but mostly we try to get home to our families in the evening. It’s a decent place to work with people who actually care about doing a good job without all the extra fuss.
