Bhairav Wooden Works

Bhairav Wooden Works is located at 5/478 Chankyapuri in the Ghatlodia area. We are quite close to the Jantanagar railway crossing, so we hear the trains passing by pretty often throughout the day. It’s a sound we have grown very used to while we are busy working on different wood projects. Our workshop is a modest space where we do all the cutting, joining, and finishing of whatever we are making. There are piles of wood stacked against the walls and tools hanging up wherever they fit. Most of our work involves a lot of manual labor, and our clothes usually end up covered in wood shavings by lunchtime. We don’t have a fancy office; we just have a small desk where we keep our notes and measurements. People from the Chankyapuri neighborhood know where to find us if they need something made or fixed. It can be a bit dusty and loud inside when the machines are going, but that is the nature of a wooden works shop. We take pride in the fact that we do everything ourselves right here in Ghatlodia. Sometimes the workspace feels a bit small when we have a large project on the table, but we manage to move things around. We aren't big on talk or marketing; we just prefer to stay behind the bench and get the wood ready for whoever needs it. It is hard work but it keeps us busy from morning until evening.
