Bhaidas M Mehta & Co is tucked away in the Sahajanand Complex in Shahibaug. We are in units 214 and 215. Shahibaug is a nice area, a bit different from the crowded main roads near the center. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular workplace where we deal with accounting and financial matters. We have been here for a good while now. Most of the people who come to us have been doing so for many years. They know us, and we know them. We don't go for any of that modern corporate style where everything is glass and steel. Our office is strictly functional. We have a few computers, some calculators that have seen better days, and plenty of filing cabinets. The work is mostly routine but it requires a lot of focus. We spend a lot of time checking totals and verifying entries. Sometimes the phones ring more than we’d like, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a fancy website or a bunch of slogans to attract people. We just handle the books and the taxes for the people who trust us. It’s a local business run by local people who understand how things work in this part of Ahmedabad. If you walk into Sahajanand Complex, you’ll find us easily enough. We stay busy with the day-to-day tasks and don't worry much about being the biggest firm. It is just honest work done by a small group of people.
