Our shop is tucked away in the Spectrum Commercial Centre, right near the G.P.O. on Salapose Road. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always someone coming in looking for a specific part or a quick fix for their gadgets. We’ve got shelves full of components and wires that probably look like a mess to anyone else, but we know where everything is. Mostly, we deal with the everyday electronic stuff that breaks down. It’s not a shiny showroom; it’s more of a workspace where we spend our hours squinting at circuit boards. The light in 210 isn't the best, but we make it work. Customers usually stop by while they’re out doing other errands near the post office. We’ve been here long enough that we know many of the regulars by name. Sometimes we can fix things right away, other times it takes a few days to find the right piece. We don't do much advertising because the word of mouth around Salapose Road keeps us plenty busy. It's just a small electronics place trying to help people get their tech working again. We keep it simple. There’s always some radio playing in the background while we work. It's a bit cramped with all the boxes, but it feels like home to us. We just do our bit every day and try to keep the lights on for the next person who walks in.
