Royal Collection

Royal Collection is situated at 1305/1, right near the Gheekanta Crossing in the Bhadra area of Ahmedabad. It is a very lively part of the city with lots of people walking by all the time. Our shop is easy to find if you know the crossing. We have been here for years, and the building has seen a lot of history. Inside, we keep all sorts of items on the shelves, and it can get a bit tight when there are more than a few people in the shop at once. We don't spend money on big signs or bright lights. Most of our regulars are people from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for a long time. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and vendors shouting, but inside we try to keep things a bit more orderly. We have a small counter where we handle the cash and wrap up the items for customers. Sometimes we run out of bags and have to use old newspaper to wrap things, but nobody seems to mind much. We open up early and don't close until late in the evening. There is a tea stall just a few doors down where we get our morning chai. It’s a basic shop, nothing fancy at all, but it’s our livelihood and we enjoy being in the middle of all the Ahmedabad hustle. We just take each day as it comes.
