Behtareen The Furniture Shop

You can find us at B-5 Sarvodaya Commercial Centre. It’s on Relief Road, right near the Relief Cinema and the GPO. That area is always packed with people and traffic, so it’s never quiet around here. Being in the commercial centre means we have neighbors on all sides doing different things. Our shop is focused on furniture. We have various pieces squeezed into the space we have. It’s a bit of a tight fit sometimes, but we make it work. Relief Road is one of those places where everyone is always in a hurry. We see a lot of people walking past our window every day. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, watching the shops around us change. The furniture we have is just sitting there ready for whoever needs it. We aren't trying to be some high-end boutique. It’s just a regular shop where you can walk in and look around without anyone hovering over you too much. We do our own lifting and moving, so it’s a bit of physical work every day. Sometimes the air in the centre gets a bit stuffy, but we leave the door open to catch whatever breeze comes off the street. It’s a busy life in this part of town. We just stick to our spot and keep things running as best as we can. It’s a honest way to spend the day and we appreciate the regulars who stop by.
