Akshar Plast

Akshar Plast is tucked away at Plot No. 411/5 in the Kapasi Estate, which is behind Mangal Estate and across from Aditya Chemical in GIDC Naroda. The directions usually mention being opposite Aditya Chemical twice because that's the main landmark around here. It’s a bit of a maze back here, and people often get lost the first time they try to visit because the signs aren't great. We have a lot of plastic material coming in and out, so the space is always full of bags and rolls. The smell of processing plastic is something you get used to after about ten minutes. It’s a loud place when the extruders are running, so we have to shout a bit to hear each other. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of rules. We just have a small group of people who know how to run the equipment. Most of our day is spent watching the machines and making sure the heat settings are right. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. Most of our work comes from people who know where we are and what we can do. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks, catching up on the local news. It’s a gritty, dusty environment in the Naroda estate, but it’s where we feel at home. We just keep our heads down, watch the production line, and get everything loaded.
