Bearing Centre

Bearing Centre is located at B/22 in the Milan Complex. We are right across from the Lalji Mulji Transport office, which is a big landmark around here near the Sanand Cross Road in Sarkhej. It’s a very busy junction with a lot of transport companies and shops all crammed together. Our shop is mostly filled with boxes of bearings from floor to ceiling. There isn’t much room to walk around once we get a big delivery in. We have a small counter where we talk to customers and a couple of stools. It’s a bit dark inside because the complex is built close together, but we have some good tube lights to help us see the part numbers. Sarkhej is a dusty part of town, especially with all the construction and the heavy vehicles passing by 24/7. We usually have the radio on in the background to drown out some of the traffic noise. We’ve been in this complex for a while, and we know most of the other shop owners around here. It’s a friendly enough place, even if it’s a bit gritty. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just open the shutter in the morning and wait for people to drop by. Sometimes it’s very quiet, and other times three people walk in at once asking for things we have to go dig out from the back of the shelves.
