Krishna Plastics

We’ve been here in Bapunagar for a good while now. Our place is at number 19 in the Vikas Industrial Estate. If you know the area, you probably know the Municipal School nearby. It gets pretty loud when the kids are out, but we’re used to it. Inside Krishna Plastics, it’s mostly just us working with the machines. There’s usually a bit of dust and the smell of melting plastic in the air. We don’t have a fancy front office or anything like that. It’s just a workshop where we get things done. Most of the guys here live close by, so they walk or bike in every morning. We start early before the Ahmedabad heat really kicks in. By midday, it’s usually boiling, so we take a long break for lunch and some tea. The estate itself is always busy with trucks and people moving crates around. We’ve seen a lot of neighbors come and go over the years, but we just stay here and keep at our work. It’s not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside and talk until it comes back on. That’s just how it is here. We focus on what’s in front of us and try to make it through the day without too many hiccups with the machinery. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
