If you head over to the Muni Industrial Estate in Bapunagar, you’ll find us at N -18. It’s tucked right behind the State Bank of India, which is how most people find their way to Anik Corporation. The industrial estate has a very specific feel to it—lots of trucks, the sound of machinery in the distance, and people always in a hurry. Our unit, N -18, is a sturdy place that’s seen a lot of use. We don’t have a flashy entrance or a shiny logo on the wall. It’s just a workspace with high ceilings and a lot of concrete. Being behind the bank is convenient, though the parking can be a bit of a nightmare on Mondays. We’ve been operating out of Bapunagar for years, and we’ve seen the estate grow and change as more units were built. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of grease and metal, but that’s just how it is in an industrial area. We spend our days inside N -18, dealing with whatever comes across our desks. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work. The neighbors are mostly other industrial shops, so there’s a sense of shared effort around here. We just show up, do our tasks, and lock up the big metal doors at night. It’s a straightforward way of doing things, and being at N -18 suits the way we work.
