Anana Textile

We are located in Bapunagar at Block-771, Room No. 5359 in the GHB area. It is an old part of the city, and the building reflects that. It is a small space, but we make it work for our textile business. Things are a bit tight in here with all the cloth samples and ledgers. We do not have a receptionist or a waiting room. You just walk in and we are right there at our desks or sorting through some fabric. Bapunagar is a crowded neighborhood, so there is always the sound of scooters and people talking outside. We have been here for a while. Our neighbors are mostly other small businesses or families. It feels like a real community. We do not spend money on advertising. We figure if the work is okay, people will keep coming back. Most of what we do is coordinating between different suppliers and making sure the fabric gets where it needs to go. It involves a lot of phone calls and scribbling notes on bits of paper. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit by the window to keep working. It is not the most modern setup, but it is ours. We take pride in just being a steady presence in the area. We are not looking to become some massive corporation. We just like the rhythm of the textile trade and the people we meet every day. It is a bit messy sometimes, but we always get the orders filled.
