You can find Corus Infrastructure Pvt Ltd. right beside the Shyam Shikhar Complex. It’s a solid building and we’ve made ourselves comfortable here. The morning starts with the sound of the shutters rolling up and the smell of the city waking up. We aren't a big corporate outfit with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us making sure everything runs smoothly. The desks are usually covered in blueprints or printouts, and there’s always a fan whirring somewhere in the background. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites, but this is where we come back to do the hard work of planning. It’s a decent spot. We have some neighbors in the complex who we chat with during breaks. The traffic on the main road can be a bit much, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and the occasional stapler. We don't put on any acts here. If you come in, you’ll see us as we are, probably a bit tired but focused. We keep our files in those old metal cabinets and try to stay organized, even when things get hectic. It’s a local business through and through. We know the area well and we’ve seen it change over the years. We’re just glad to have a place here to do our work. Nothing more to it than that.
