Our place is at 1005 in the Samudra Annexe building. It’s a decent enough office space, even if the elevator is a bit slow on Monday mornings. We deal mostly with bearings, so there are always samples sitting on the desks and shelves. It’s a bit of a mix here; half the time we’re doing office work and the other half we’re in the storage area checking on the stock. We have quite a few rows of metal shelving where everything is organized by size and type. Sometimes it gets a bit confusing with all the different part numbers, but we have a system that works for us. The windows look out over the city, which is nice when we take a break for lunch. There’s usually a radio playing somewhere in the background, mostly old songs that everyone knows. We don't really have a big staff, just a small group of us who have been doing this for a while. We know our bearings pretty well. When the phone rings, it’s usually someone looking for a specific size that’s hard to find. We go back and check the crates to see what we have. It’s a lot of physical work moving the heavier boxes around. We don't have a polished corporate look. The carpet is a bit worn in places and the desks are cluttered with catalogs and pens. It’s just a functional workspace where we get things done.
