Balku Overseas Llp

Our business, Balku Overseas Llp, is run out of a small shop in Ahmedabad. Specifically, we’re in the Shivay Complex, which is part of the Nandi Villa housing society in Nana Chiloda. It’s a bit away from the main city center, which we actually prefer because it’s not as chaotic. We started this because we wanted to do something of our own. It’s a small operation, just a few of us in Shop No. 5. We handle overseas trade, which involves a lot of phone calls and emails. Some days the internet is slow and we get frustrated, but we always manage to get the job finished. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do good work and support our families. The people around Nana Chiloda are friendly, and we like being part of the local community. It’s not a fancy office with leather chairs. We have plastic ones and a big table where we do all our planning. It’s practical and it works for us. We’ve learned a lot since we started, and we’re still learning every day. Ahmedabad is a place where if you work hard, you can get by. That’s what we’re doing here. Just keeping our heads down and doing the work.
