Balanand Printing Press/Tripura Printer

Our place, Balanand Printing Press, which some people also call Tripura Printer, is located at unit 8 in the Parmeshvar Estate. We are situated right behind the Neeca Tube factory in the Vatva GIDC area. This is a proper industrial zone, so the whole neighborhood is about trucks, warehouses, and manufacturing. The estate is quite large and spread out, so you have to keep an eye out for the turn-off behind the tube company. Inside our unit, the smell of ink and paper is everywhere. It’s a real working press, so there are always stacks of finished jobs and the constant rhythm of the machines running in the background. We aren't here to look fancy or impress anyone with a lobby; we are here to get the printing done for our clients. The walls are a bit stained and could probably use some paint, but we are usually too busy with the rollers to worry about that. Being in Vatva means we are surrounded by other hard-working businesses, and we handle a lot of the paperwork and labels they need. It’s a gritty, no-nonsense part of the city. We start early in the morning and often stay late if there is a big order on the machines that needs to go out by tomorrow. There is no corporate polish here. Just a few of us making sure the ink levels are right and the paper is feeding through correctly. We stay because this spot in Parmeshvar Estate works for us. It’s where the work gets done.
