Balaji Gravures

Balaji Gravures is tucked away in the Maninagar area. We are located inside Vinay Arcade, specifically at unit number 10, where we share some space with Chinar Sales. The landmark that most people use to find us is the old railway crossing that is just nearby. Also, the Jain Derasar is only a short walk from our front door, which makes it a fairly well-known spot. Maninagar is a part of the city that is always moving, and we are right in the thick of it. The arcade itself is an older building, but it works well for what we need. Inside our shop, things can get a bit tight because of the heavy engraving equipment, but we have learned how to move around it. We spend our days dealing with cylinders and the technical side of engraving work. It's a bit of a niche trade, and not many people do it these days. Sometimes people get a little lost trying to find the right railway crossing, but once they see the arcade, they find us easily enough. The atmosphere here is very local and grounded. We know the other shop owners in the arcade quite well and often grab tea together. We don't have a fancy reception desk or a waiting lounge. You usually just walk in and find us working in the back part of the shop. It’s a practical setup. We’ve been at this Maninagar location for a good while, and the sound of the trains doesn't even register anymore. We focus on the metal and the machines.
