Karan Bhavsar Photography

I'm Karan, and I do photography here in Bagodara. I don't have a big studio with fancy lights and backdrops. Most of my work happens out at weddings or local events around town. My house is where I keep all my cameras and do the editing on my computer. I’ve lived in Bagodara my whole life, so I know most of the families who call me. I started out just taking photos of my friends for fun, and then people started asking me to do their family functions. It’s a lot of standing around and waiting for the right moment, then spending hours looking at a screen later. My equipment is good, but it’s definitely seen some wear and tear from traveling to different villages on my bike. I try to keep my prices fair because I know how expensive things can get for people. I don't have a secretary, so I answer all my own calls and messages whenever I'm not busy taking pictures. Sometimes I get behind on the editing during the busy wedding season, but I always tell people that upfront so they don't worry. It’s just me doing what I know how to do. I like seeing the look on people's faces when they see their photos for the first time. It makes the long nights editing in my room worth it, even when my eyes get tired and I need a break from the screen.
