Our office is over at No. 9 Neelkanth Estate, which is right across from the Jaipur Golden Transport Company in Ahmedabad. Being near such a big transport hub is pretty useful for us since we are in the healthcare business and always have boxes moving in and out. It’s a dusty part of the city, and there’s always a line of trucks parked along the road. Our space is mostly taken up by inventory and rows of filing cabinets. We aren't doctors or nurses; we handle the commercial side of things. It’s a lot of checking batch numbers and making sure the invoices match what’s in the crates. The office gets a bit hot in the summer, but we have a few fans that keep the air moving. We don't have a big corporate structure here. It’s just a handful of us who have been working together for a long time. We know each other’s families and we usually eat lunch together at the big desk in the back. Sometimes a shipment arrives late at night and one of us has to come down to open the shutters. That’s just part of the routine. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or polished brochures. We just make sure the supplies are where they need to be. It’s a practical, everyday sort of business, and we like it that way. We don't worry about being the biggest, just about getting the boxes out.
