Axiom Kennel Pets

Living and working at H. No. 16-160 in Nidhi Appartment Part Two means there is always something going on. Being in Shastri Nagar, specifically Narayanpura, it’s a fairly residential area, but Axiom Kennel Pets keeps it lively. It’s not your typical quiet office. There is almost always a dog barking or a cat scratching at something. We spend a lot of our time cleaning floors and making sure the water bowls are full. It's a lot of physical work, honestly. My clothes usually have pet hair on them no matter how much I brush them off. We know most of the neighbors because they walk by and peek in to see the animals. The apartment setup is a bit tight, but we make it work by staying organized. We have a routine for feeding and walks that we try to stick to, even when things get chaotic. It’s not always pretty—sometimes there are messes to clean up and the smell of pet shampoo is everywhere—but it’s what we do. People come by to ask questions about their own pets or to see what we have. We don't have a big fancy storefront with neon lights. It’s just a door and some friendly faces. We try to keep the animals comfortable and that takes up most of our energy. By the end of the day, we’re pretty tired, but the place is finally quiet.
