Automotive Logistics

Automotive Logistics is based at 58, Krishnasagar Society in Ahmedabad. We are tucked in near the Vishwamitry Society in the Jivrajpark area. It is more of a residential-feeling spot than a big industrial zone, which makes it a bit quieter than some other parts of the city. We handle things related to moving cars and parts from one place to another. Our office is basically a few rooms where we keep our files and computers. The society has some nice trees around, so it is quite pleasant in the mornings before the heat starts to rise. We have a small porch where we sometimes stand to take a break. Most of our work is done through phone calls and tracking trucks on our screens. Ahmedabad gets very hot, so we keep the windows closed and the fans running all day long. We have a calendar on the wall that we mark up with all the different delivery dates. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to say hello. It is a very local way of doing business. We don't have a big sign out front, just enough for people to know they are at the right house in the society. Dealing with logistics means there is always a bit of stress about delays, but we just take it one step at a time. It is a steady rhythm of work that we have grown quite used to over the years here in Jivrajpark.
